Since its founding in 1984, The Mendelssohn Choir of Connecticut (MCC) has been dedicated to the development of an appreciation of choral music through the presentation of public concerts and performances. MCC is known for its versatility of repertoire, including oratorio, symphonic, opera, Broadway and music of diversity. We strive to foster a love for singing while promoting musical excellence and camaraderie among our members.
Choral music can express extremely powerful emotions and engage listeners as nothing else can. We want our audiences to be drawn into the action and to be moved by the unique power of communication by many human voices.
